Katinko Ointment

A traditional chinese ointment...a green goo of medicated paste...katinko has been one of the few cure-alls that has been trusted by my family for years...you can just use it to relieve most, if not all, of your external ailments...rheumatism, numbness of limbs (or brain as the case maybe), bruises, muscular tension, chest pains, headache, insect bite, skin itch, congested nose...i even used it to soothe a tooth ache...but one warning though: don't rub it hard....you'll feel like burning if you do that...especially if you rub it hard in your nostrils....eeyow....or your eyes....

it comes in two sizes in drugstores here...


(the small size came in actual tin flat cans before...very traditional chinese feel)

in Japan, they even have it in stick type...

my mojacko toy...

nothing complicated....not even an articulated joint....but its one of the best miniature rendition of the orange guy that i've seen...it's been with me for a long time now...(even imagined to have a mojacko tattoo on my back before)...but that's not all...look beneath the surface and you will see that...



it's also a stamper....what a surprise...

all in all a very good toy...

for those not in the know (i.e. under a rock) mojacko was a famous anime character a few years ago...i found a site hosting some screen caps of the show (probably from a scanned 'teks card' which was a lucky me noodle freebie then)...
