A traditional chinese ointment...a green goo of medicated paste...katinko has been one of the few cure-alls that has been trusted by my family for years...you can just use it to relieve most, if not all, of your external ailments...rheumatism, numbness of limbs (or brain as the case maybe), bruises, muscular tension, chest pains, headache, insect bite, skin itch, congested nose...i even used it to soothe a tooth ache...but one warning though: don't rub it hard....you'll feel like burning if you do that...especially if you rub it hard in your nostrils....eeyow....or your eyes....
it comes in two sizes in drugstores here...

(the small size came in actual tin flat cans before...very traditional chinese feel)
in Japan, they even have it in stick type...

i've learned katinko c/o my ex-bf-turned hubby. Mostly used for itches lang when we climb mountains. External use lang ang Katinko so don't rub it anywhere near your nose...hehehe :)
